A4 is the base size for every layout
A4 measures 210 × 297 mm and provides a practical canvas for flyers, promotions, menus, events and other printed designs. In a no fold layout, the finished flyer uses a single A4 sheet. When the design is folded, the overall unfolded sheet becomes wider while each panel continues to use the A4 format.
Folding changes the overall sheet size
A bi fold uses two A4 panels, creating an unfolded sheet equivalent to 2× A4. A tri fold uses three A4 panels, while a four fold uses four. This means the total artwork area grows with each additional panel, giving you more space for content while keeping the individual panels based on the A4 format.
