What's the difference between a quote and an invoice?

A quote is an estimate you send before work starts — showing what the project will cost so the client can approve it. An invoice is a bill sent after work is delivered, requesting payment. Use this tool for quotes; use our Free Invoice Generator for invoices.

Can I add a signature or acceptance block?

Yes. The quote includes an Accepted by signature area with a date field. Your client can print, sign, scan, and send back — turning your quote into a simple project approval document.

What does "Valid Until" mean?

The Valid Until date is the deadline for the client to accept your pricing. After that date, you're free to revise your estimate. The default is 30 days from the quote date, but you can change it to any date.

Can I add my business logo?

Yes. Click the logo upload area and select a PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP file. Your logo appears in the quote header on every download.

What currencies are supported?

Any currency. The currency field is a free-text input — type $, €, £, ₹, ¥, AED, or any symbol or code. No dropdown limits.

Can I customize the quote design?

Yes. Change header background color, text color, header font, body font, font size, letter spacing, line height, and weight. The preview updates live as you type.

How do I download the quote as a PDF?

Click the Download PDF button. Your browser's print dialog opens — select Save as PDF. The quote is pre-formatted to A4 with no white borders. The PDF filename is automatically set to your client's name.

Is this designed for designers specifically?
